The Hotel "Danilovskaya" was built
within the protected zone of the St. Daniel
Monastery in 1991. This modern 5-story hotel
has comfortable rooms, a conference hall, meeting
rooms, fine restaurant, and banquet halls which
make it possible to conduct business conferences,
assemblies, and also to welcome guests with
traditional Russian hospitality.
The St. Daniel Monastery, one of the oldest
in Russia, founded at the end of 12th century,
is a vivid example of wonderful Russian architecture.
The austere beauty, harmonious maturity, and
gracious harmony of its presence make the Monastery
a reflection of the elevated simplicity and
purity of the Russian Orthodox faith.
At present the St. Daniel Monastery is the official
residence of His Holiness, Patriarch Aleksy
II of Moscow, and All Russia.
The Hotel Danilovskaya is located near the Tulskaya
metro station, and it takes only 20 minutes
to get the from the hotel to the center of Moscow.
Please Note: The "Danilovskaya " is
non–smoking hotel. Due to the fact that the
hotel is owned by the monastery, no loud music
is permitted, and guests should remember at
all times that they are staying in an important
historic and cultural environment.
The hotel has 116 rooms, consisting of: 3 deluxe
apartments, 19 semi-suites, 19 double and 75
single rooms. All rooms have a bath, TV set,
phone, and modern furniture. All the rooms face
the Cathedrals and other structures within the
